White Sauce

Ingredients
  • 25 g stick margarine
  • 25 g all-purpose flour
  • 10 g butter
  • 6 g salt
  • 355 ml boiling water
  • 235 ml fat-free milk
  • pepper to taste

Method


In a saucepan, melt margarine. Stir in flour, butter until blended. 

Gradually add water and milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Season with pepper.
